Can I Live in my residence during construction?

Barrett completes the majority of residential building projects with clients present at their residence. Doing so is possible because we minimize disruption to the best of our ability.

We recognize that, unlike new-construction projects, special considerations must be taken to protect and preserve delicate, valuable aspects of your property such as art, furniture, and permanent fixtures. Barrett goes to great lengths to ensure all projects are safely and seamlessly executed.

For indoor construction, temporary barriers are erected to contain dust. Furniture is carefully moved out of harm’s way and/or covered. Floors are protected with a substantial, breathable, and environmentally-friendly material that guards against scratches, spills, and stains. On top of all that, air scrubbers filter microparticles and smells to keep you and your family breathing easy.

For outdoor projects, similar measures are taken to mitigate damage from heavy equipment and movement of raw materials.
